PRINCE PALATINE ARRIVES SAFELY NEW YORK, N. Y., October 12. The steamer Michigan arrived in New York yesterday witli what was probably the most valuable cargo of thoroughbred horses ever brought to the United States. On the Michigan was E. F. Simnis recent .purchase. Prince Palatine, which brought an enormous price in England; Brown Prince, an English horse purchased by an American syndicate, and Nnssovian, bred in England and owned by John Sanford. hi addition to tiiesc famous sires, the Michigan brought some Of Mr. Sanfords yearlings recently purchased in England and several valuable brood mares.
