LOUGHLAND came wide into the stretch and tired. TRANTULA closed a gap and finished well. GENERAL MENOCAL also closed a gap. RUNFLOR showed speed for a quarter. ELYSIAN made the pace and was coming again after liis rider was caught naming. FLARE jumped well and raced gamely, but tired. "ROYAL ARCH fell in landing from the fourteenth obstacle.
