ZARIBA BEST IN PRIX MGRNY Boussacs Filly Shares with Zenoia the Premiership of Two-Year-Old Division. Special Correspondence. PARIS, France, August 22. What we have written you right along about the fillies having an edge on the colts in the two-year-old division was further impressed on the racing public today when Marcel Boussacs filly Zariba won the rich Prix Moniy at Deanville from .loyeux Drillo, Gauri-sanker and Despard. She simply cantered the whole way and George Stern, her trainer and jockey, did not get a bit of mud on his orange jacket. Four lengths, eased up, was the verdict, with two lengths between second and third. The course was heavy after the downpour of yesterday. It looks as if the present two-year-old situation shapes itself in Zariba, the winner of todays race, and Zenoia, the Omnium winner, being the best so fnr shown. The former, by Sardanapale, and the latter by Sweeper, are both unbeaten and they will have to meet and fight it out before one can select the best. They seem pretty close together. Joyeux Drille is up till now on public form the best of the colts. Despard, the half-brother to Mae-Kinley, made no showing and is inferior to his famous but unfortunate relative. There is little gossip after the Grand Trix. Nouvel Ans work on Friday was first class. The rain and the parade certainly unsettled him yesterday. He acted like a horse with a brain storm. What a season it has been for foreign owners, tlio Grand Prix and the Prix de le President to England, the Prix Marechaux to Spain, the Prix de Printemps to Greece and the Grand Prix de Deanville also to that country. What is in store for us next .fall in the Prix Arc ile Triomphe? Will another Comrade travel over from England and con-meet? They say Square Measure is coming. If so, please elose the gate. Bellhouse will not be riding for the Aga Khan next year. He was approached by Jean Prat and has signed with that gentleman for 1922. Duke and Garner appeared to be a winning combination so perhaps we will see them again together in the new stable of "le pape indien," as the French papers call him. Johnnie Rieff is working hard on the roads and in the bath and his weight is now under 121 pounds. Prix Morny of ?8,000 added for two-year-old colts and fillies over a three-quarters mile route was the feature event at Deanville on Monday, August 22. Net value to winner, 0,300; second, ?1,000; third, 00. The race resulted as follows: Marcel Boussacs Zariba, b. f. by Sardanapale Saint Lucre, 121 pounds G. Stern 1 N. K.
