LAST STRAW followed the leaders under slight restraint in the early running and, coming around 10DY in the stretch when called on. took the lead with a rush and won going away. TODY raced in closest pursuit and made a threatening challenge in the last eighth, but could not keep pace with LAST STRAWS rush. CURFEW, oft slowly, gradually improved her position and made a fast finish. FRIG ATI: was under vigorous riding all the way and made a game linish. FRANK B. raced into a long lead in the lirst turn of the field, but tired badly in the final half mile. JOYFUL seemingly lacked speed and was never dangerous. The latter raced up into third place, but dropped back in the stretch. The winner, entered for .3,500. was bid up to ,000 and sold to J. S. Cosdcn.
