WIDENER COLT IS A WINNER AT PARIS CHAXTILLY, France, September 5. Racing was resumed on the Parisian circuit on Sunday. An immense crowd attended the opening meeting. A popular American sportsman had the pleasure of seeing his two-year-old, apparently well named The Flyer, win the Prix de Lormoy. The result of th race follows: The Prix de Lormoy, a nice at four and a half furlongs for two-year-olds, with ,000 added. J. E. Wideners The Flyer, Matt McGee 1 Lord Derbys Uerzegovinc, G, Garner 2 T. Hoittin-Dertins Le Grosnard, G. Hellhouse... 3 A field of thirteen faced the barrier and got away to a good start. The Flyer raced prominently and won in a driving finish by a half length. J. Welsh trained the winner. 1
