MARES DISPOSED OF AT SHERIFFS SALE LEXIXGTOX. Ky.. Sept. 5. At Crystal Farm Saturday there was a salt; of thoroughbreds conducted by Sheriff J. Waller Rodes, under an order of court to satisfy a bill for keep amounting to ,153, held by Thomas It. Jones against Curtis and Hardin Field of Mexico, Mo. The result of which was as follows: Rose Pompom, ch. m, 17, by Royal Flush Redworth Rose. Hrownell Combs, 50; Redrose. ch. in, 10. by Oddfellow Rose Potnitoui, Hrownell Combs, 00; bay filly suckling, by Toney Honero Rose Pompom, William Dondas, 00; chestnut colt, suckling, by Toney Honero Red Rose, Hal Price Ileadley, 00; chestnut colt yearling, by Tony Honero Red Rose, Robert Flakes, 25. The two mares are bred to Peter Quince and believed to be in foal.
