FIRST PULLET TRIUMPHS AT MT. ROYAL MONTREAL, Que., September 29. C. R. Dalys First Pullet scored a head victory from Crimson Rambler in the sixth race, which attracted the bent field at Mount Royal Park this afternoon. The track was still heavy, although drying out rapidly. War Smoke found the going to his liking and never left the result in doubt in the concluding race. Diocletian scored in decisive fashion in the third race, leading home Mary Erb and Dudle Bug. The victories of St. Kevin and Torpedo in the first and second races marked their initial successes on the turf. Glenn and Financial Rooster came from behind in the stretch to win their respective races. At the close of this meeting P. Hinphy plans to ship Chimera and Mack Garner to Kenilworth Park. Jockey W. Hinphy will accompany his brother to the Windsor course. J. D. Lenahan departs for Lexington, Ky., with Finis and Starkey, while Gene Lutz Is destined for Maryland with his string at the close of racing here. Jockey O. Atwcll will leave Saturday night for Brie, Pa., to ride at that meeting. The stables nf H. Dougherty, "Doc" Tanner and H. A. Cotton will also ship to the Pennsylvania course.
