Won driving; second and third the ime". ACE HIGH showed fine speed and set a fust pace all the way, but had to be ridden hard in the stretch and also swerved out in the last eighth. RUNZAF raced forwardly all the way and suffered by being forced wide when ACE HIGH began swerving out. THARON was forced back in the first quarter and dosed a gap in the stretch. BLACK BETTY, prominent from the start, was going fastest at the end and would have won in a few strides more. FINCASTLE waswell up all the way. FIELD LARK closed a gap. BASHFUL tired. MAVEHONA showed thf most speed and set a good pace-; but suffered from interference in the stretch when ACE had her in close quarters and tired. HERD GIRL ran a good race, but tired in the closing strides. DODGE closed a gap and was going well at the end. EASTESIDE Sired in the stretch. MARGARET WINSOR raced well up froiri the start and made a fast and, game finish. QUINCE. GARDEN, also showing improvement, showed much speed all the way and outstayed CARPENTER. The latter set a great pace, but began tiring in the Stretch and was poorly ridden, at the end. JANKU was far back after-going -the first quarter. Overweights -Tom Hure Jr..
