NEW MILE TRACK NEAR CLEVELAND MONTREAL, Que., September 29. Judge F. W. Gerhardy announced today that he is preparing the book for the thirteen-day running meeting opening at Maple Heights, u new mile track close to Cleveland, O., where racing is scheduled to commence on October 15. Mr. Gerhardy will serve us presiding judge and racing secretary and Harry Morrissey probably will be the starter. The meeting will be conducted under the auspices of the Ohio State Jockey Club. The new track is apear shaped, accessible by two railroads and electric lines. The stands and main buildings aic ccn-structed of steel and concrete and . up-to-date in every respect. .The purses will be of value and a daily handicap with 00 added.
