CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Donoghue, the English leading rider, won his hundredth race at Ayr, Scotland, September 2i. The Ohio State Jockey Club has announced dates for its meeting at Maple Height Park from October 15 to October 29. There is a possibility of Tracery returning to the stud in England in 192::. In any event another year Mr. Uuzue, his Argentine owner, expects to be racing some of Tracerys progeny in England. The death is announced of Baron Leopold Lun-den. one of the best known figures on the Belgian turf. He was a successful gentleman rider In his younger days, and afterward a prominent owner and breeder and was for long a member of the Belgian Jockey Club and other racing bodies. The two important English autumn handicaps, Cesarewitch and Cambridgeshire, are to be run at Newmarket next month. For the Cesarewitch, at two and one-quarter miles, to be run October 12, Tishy, 7 to 1; Harrier, 10 to 1; Devizes, 11 to 1; are now favorites. For the Cambridgeshire, at one and one-eighth miles, run October 20, Soranus, 8 to 1, is the present choice.
