PADDLE ran well and wore the tiring TROUBLER down in the last eighth. The latter showed speed and was hard ridden all the way. The latter finished in resolute fashion and wearing the winner down. IRISH JIG finished fast and passed BABY GRAND in the last sixteenth. The latter tired unexpectedly.
