Won handily; second and third driving. NIGHTBOAT set a good pace from soon after the start and gamely maintained his advantage to the end under a vigorous ride. ATTOO raced prominently all the way and made a game finish. MIRACLE MAN, off well, but forced wide at the elbow, finished fastest of all. REBUKE began well, but was outrun while going to the turn and in close quarters through the -stretch. CALISTOGA showed speed, but tired. BULLSEYE jumped well and finished gamely when called on. but was easily outpaced by the winner. VALSPAR retired after going well for two miles and pulled up slightly lame. SEA COVE displayed much speed and raced in nearest pursuit throughout, but was tiring at the finish. TEDDY R. saved ground on the turns and made a fast linisli. SQUAW MAN ran well. ELECTED II. showed the most early speed and set a fast pace, but tired in the lust eighth. ESCARPOLETTE swerved out all through the stretch, hut, finished fast. GOOD, BYE ran well for three-quarters.
