SHILLING CASE TO COURT OF APPEALS HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., September 29. Turf followers heaved a sigh of relief this afternoon when word was brought back from the Circuit Court at Belalr that the Shilling case had been referred to tlie Court of Appeals and will not be placed on the docket till practically the close of the racing season in the State of Maryland. As the case rests Shilling resumed the status that he had previous to the time that he was given a license by the Maryland Racing Commission. He will not be allowed to solicit a mount or make any attempt to ride. When the case was called in the court attorneys for the association offered bonds, which were accepted. No witnesses were called and I the officials and stewards hurried back to the track and resumed their duties.
