LOUIS A. began slowly and iiad to come wide into the stretch, hut. finished with a rush. ESTERO also made up ground and finished fast. WAR SPIRIT closed a gap i-.i the last quarter. ST. The hitter was forced back soon after the start, but moved up with a rush on the stretch turn and sharply impeded DISTINCTION, then made a fast and game finish. ACE HIGn raced forwardly all the way. DISTINCTION began slowly, but showed fine speed in racing into tlie lead and setting a fast pace until rounding into the stretch, where she was knocked back.
