JUNE FLY moved up rapidly on, the outside while rounding into the stretch, then swerved eiear across to the inner rail, forcing WOODBINE to be pulled up sharply, but outflnishfd ST. PAUL finally. ST. PAUL raced into the lead at the half-mile post, but came extremely wide on the last turn and all ihrough the homestretch and lost by it. WOODBINE was outrun early, but made up ground and appeared the winner, but met with interference in the final twenty yards. ALGONQUIN and CHIEF SPONSOR both quit. DAY LILLY raced PARISIAN DIAMOND into defeat and took a brief lead, then eame again in the final strides and was wearing the winner down. COURT FOOL closed a gap and came fast through the homestretch. PARISIAN DIAMOND was much used in making the early pace and tired. DIOMED lacked speed. Overweights Parisian Diamond, 1 pound. K.7tK.
