« HUNTAMER MUCH IMPROVED SAN DIEGO, Cal., April 15.— Jockey J. Huntamer, who sustained serious injuries in a fall here recently, shows so much improvement that his physicians expect he will be able to leave the hospital by next Saturday. Yesterday he was enjoying the California sunshine from a wheel chair. Those who have conversed with Huntamer recently say that the accident apparently has not caused him to lose heart and that the youth is extremely anxious to resume riding. One of his visitors today was Mrs. U. S. Grant, Jr. She crowned Mulciber winner of the Coffroth Handicap. Huntamer rode this horse to victory and the little jockey and the San Diego society matron have become quite good friends. •
