RIDES AT FIFTY-ONE YEARS Mr. Percy Whitaker experienced the hardest luck on his mount, Arravale, in this years Grand National. He got round safely the first time and was going in splendid style when he jumped on a dead horse at Bechers Brook and came down. Notwithstanding, it was a plucky achievement on the part of Mr. Whitaker, who is now fifty-one years old.
