SCHOOL BEAFT FOE JUMPING NEW YORK, N. T., Juy 7.James McClelland has turned over Draft, from the Lexington Stable, to Jerry Carroll to have him converted into a jumper. Draft is a three-year-old son of Fair Play and Dragnet and showed evidences of class on the flat last season. He is perfectly sound and Carroll has hopes of developing him into a first-class steeplechaser for fall racing. Carroll was given Hasten On and Tho Trout for the same purpose and the latter has since made good adequately through the field. .
