Won cased up; second and third driving. THE QUH3T sprinted info the lead at once and, setting a fast pace, was under restraint at tho end. BUCKWIID.T gained steadliy and finished fast. MY SOLACE finished resolutely on the outside and outgamed SLY FOX. The latter finished next to the rail and was tiring at the end. ROYAL MAID tired and quit. BRYNTHONA saved ground on all the turns and. coming on the outside on the ttretch turn, finished fast and wearing the winner down. WITCH FLOWER closed a gap and finished gamely. GRAY CABLES took the lead at once and, making the pace fast, won easily all the way. tOTK DOR raced to the leaders with a rush when on the backstretch and held secoud place safe for the remainder of the race. MERCUTIO was always close up, but was tiring through the last eighth. PARISIAN DIAMOND was forced wide on the first turn, but finished fast and was wearing MERCUTIO down at the end. The latter moved up steadily from the half mile post and was wearing tiie winner down at the end. BURGOYNE began well, but was permitted to drop back and was repeatedly cut off, then finished with a belated rush and can do much better. MURRAY raced into a long loud in the first quarter, but tired badly in the stretch. ATTORNEY quit badly after racing into a contending position.
