Won easily; second and third driv- ing. SO IT COBS meed to the leaders with a rush and, passing them on the last turn, drew away into a long lead, but was ridden out at the finish. WYLIE raced in a forward position throughout and finished fast through the final eighth. FAYELLE began slowly, but worked her way up on the inside and was ; going fast in the linal strides. PIRATE COLD followed the winner closely for three-quarters, but tired badly when called on and was laboring in the goins. GUNSIGHT was outrun all the way. Won easily; second and third driving. SKY LINE raced prominently to the final eighth, where she came with a rush into a good lead and won going away. FAITHFUL GIRL displayed the most speed for the first half mile and, in a resolute finish, outgamed SEQUEL. The latter was badly buffeted about at the start and, recovering quickly, raced in a forward position, but tired in the final drive. CONTACT, badly interfered with at the start, gradually improved her position, but could not overtake the leaders. Scratched 63811 Woodtlower. 107. Overweights Jennie C. 1 pound. Won easily; second and third driving. KAI-SANC raced under restraint until after entering the stretch, then took the lead quickly when called on and could have won much farther away. ATHELSTAN gained graduaUy on BRAINSTORM through the stretch and easily passed him in the linal sixteenth. MAIZE moved up fast from the stretch turn and made a game finish. LORD HERBERT was badly outpaced and came wide into the stretch, then finished with a rush and outstayed CHATEAUGAY in the final drive. CHATEAUGAY raced forwardly for three-quarters. WILDERNESS, off forwardly, followed CURTIS under slight restraint for the first half, then raced into an easy lead on the stretch turn and won in a canter. NASSAU finished gamely on the outside and easily outstayed CURTIS. The latter showed excellent speed and set a fast pace for a half mile, then tired badly in the final eighth. QUEEN DIANA, off slowly, gradually improved her position while on the extreme outside and finished with a rush. HIGH PRINCE and SPOT CASH finished well.
