BETTER TIMES displayed the most speed, set a good pace and, saving ground on the turns under good riding, held MOONRAKER safe at the end. The latter raced in closest pursuit all the way and made a game finish. MY OWN finished fast and outgamed NOEL at the end. The latter was hard ridden all the way. DRUID HILL quit. Won easily; second and third driving. PIETRUS took a quick lead and, racing DR. JOHNSON into defeat, saved ground on the turns and won easing up. CLANSMAN dropped back in the early running and came wide on the stretch turn, but finished with a rush. JYNTEE met with slight interference, but closed a gap and made a fast finish. DR. The latter began slowly, but closed a gap with a rush on the inside. THREE SQUARE raced well all the way. MABEL K. was speedy, but tired from chasing the winner. KNIGHT OF THE HEATHER set a fast pace; but was made too much use of and tiredi BELLSOLAR had no mishaps.
