Won easily; second and third driving. LADY CnAMP was hard ridden and, racing TUSCOLA to defeat in the first three-eighths, held POE safe through the stretch. TOE was ridden wide on the torn and was tiring badly in the stretch, just lasting to hold second place. TREASURER came fast near the end and wonld have been second in a few strides more. CHARLES HENRY had no mishaps. TUSCOLA quit badly after setting a fast pace to the last turn. Scratched 66161 Make Up, 103; 65919 Quanah, 99. POWER, away well, saved much ground on the stretch turn and, taking the lead, stood a hard stretch drive and was casing up at the end. AILSIE VERNOR came fast after reaching the stretch. PUT AND TAKE ran a good race. FRENCH CANADIAN set the early pace, but tired badly in the stretch. PROCEEDS closed a big gap in the last quarter. MR. LEE quit. The latter was also prominent for the entire race and made a game finish. MEGAN cloied a big gap in the last quarter. SALVO had no mishaps. GOLDEN FLOSS set a last early pace, but tired badly in the last eighth. Won easily; second and third driving. ANGLUM MAID ran as if much the best and, racing into the lead, drew away from the others in the stretch to win as her rider pleated. POSTLUDE raced in closest pursuit for the entire race and finished gamely. NORTH TOWER was hard ridden and just lasted to save third place. CRUZERN raced well. HUMANITARIAN was far back for the first half, but was running well at the end. WILLOW TREE :ilki finished fast. MISSIONARY showed fine speed and raced into the lead on the backstrctch after being much used in racing with PRELUDE, then stood a hard drive resolutely and outfinished UNITED VERDE. The latter, probably best, was kept too far back for the first half mile, then came fast and, taking tho lead, appeared the winner in tho last sixteenth, but tired near the end. ASPIRATION raced forwardly and stayed the route gamely. WATCHFUL WAITING elosed a gap and finished close up. BLUE NOSE tired. CHITTAGONG closed a big gap. Won driving; second and third tho same. QUEEN HIGH began slowly and was outpaced early, but came with a rush through the stretch and outfinished BLARNEY STONE. The latter ran a gcod race and made a fast finish. WAKH UP raced forwardly all the way, but tired. NORMAL was much used in racing into the lead and gave way in tho stretch drive.
