ROSS PROMISING YEARLINGS LAUREL, Md., October 18. Ten yearlings, including some of the first get of Cudgel, are quartered at the J. K. L. Ross farm at Laurel, Md. The youngsters are good lookers and are related to several of Americas racers. A colt by Cudgel Melody is the star of them. Another colt by the same sire and Wheat-car and a colt by Cudgel Sue Avill be the ones to race in the Ross silks next spring. The others are as follows : Colt, by Ogden Maltha, half brother to Flag of Truce and Peace Pennant ; tAvo fillies by Wigstone, from Pesky, the other from Kate Bright ; a filly by Marathon Priscilla Mullins, sister to Prisniar, and Uvo by Fitz-willian, from My Fair Lady and Mary Street,
