Won easily; second and third driving. FELICITOUS was saved to the stretch turn, from where he came on the inside with a rush and raced into a long lead. PANASAIN raced into a clear lead, but tired and had to be hard ridden to outstay SWEET AND PRETTY. The latter made up ground and finished fast. Won driving; second and third the same. PHKKIOMEN was saved under restraint until in the last turn of the field, then responded well when called on and outgamed BARONET in the final drive. The latter raced into a long lead in the early running, but tired badly in the last quarter and swerved to the outside at the end. CREST HILL jumped well, but could never get up. THE SPHINX bolted into the wing at the third jump and forced VOX POlULI II. out with him. Both horses unseated their riders, but VOX POPULI II. was remounted and finished the course. SIMPLICITY ran u good race and was pressing the winner hard at the finish. CUM SAH worked his way up on the outside and outgamed MINUTE MAN. The latter tired after racing well to the stretch. TRANSOM began slowly, but closed a gap and came with a rush through the final eighth. CAROL raced HEELTAPS into defeat and tired. DANIEL ran well. MARTINGALE was in close quarters at the eighth post. HEELTAPS set a fast pace to the last eighth and tired badly.
