NUYAKA bumped his way through on the stretch turn and lought it out gamely through the last sixteenth. STONE AGE was ridden wide on the stretch turn but tiuished fastest of all. GORDON SHAW showed the most early speed, but tired in the last eighth. STUMP JR. tired after racing into the U-ad. C. A. REINIIART began .slowly and met some interference. The latter also came from far back in the last quarter and would have won in a few more strides. KEWPIE ONEIL set a good pace to the stretch and tired badly. CUT UP ran well to the stretch.
