HORSES AT ORIENTAL PARK Roger Minton. who is in charge of the Guayabal Stock Farm in Cuba, in a recent letter vouchsafed the following information about horses and other bits of information at that point: The first batch of horses that had been summered on the island were moved to Oriental Park. They are the property of Williams Brothers and include Wise Man, Captain Rose, Harold K., Position, Orris, j Pandean and Ostel, also four horses for V. F. Knebclkamp, including Kildare Boy, ?Icm-phis, Acosta and Harry Glover. All of these horses have already been placed in training and are going along famously in J,neir work. Twenty-live horses are still ;,t the farm following a .summers idleness and will be shipped to Oriental Park as soon as their different owners arrive from northern points. With the exception of three yearlings, two fillies and one colt, the cider horses have been given their early preparation for a winters campaign. Fifteen brood mares, all of which have foaled, have been bred back to Sweep Clean. Solomon, Kildare Hoy. Driftlield and Truant.
