CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Al Luzadfcrs Corydon fell in a race at Huntington. W. ATa., Friday, October 17, and broke his neck. It is said that the Maple Heights track will be improved by an expenditure of ?150,-000 between now and next years spring meeting. There are about one hundred horses turned out in close proximity to San Diego. They will soon be taken up and prepared for Tijuana racing. J. "M. McFaddens horses, in charge of trainer W. Scuito, were shipped to the McFadden ranch, near Corvallis, Oregon, Monday morning. They include Citizen, Laura Miller, Toy Miss and others. Jockey Molters, the young rider who made quite art enviable record at Tijuana, Reno and Vancouver, has gone to Texas for a rrst before resuming his saddle duties at the comnig Tijuana meeting.
