McLean entry in the third race being named an 10. B. McLean entry in any other race had no connection with the matter whatever. This being the point of controversy nothing remains but to settle. J. AV. L., Lexington, Ky. It was not a parlay, but was two separate bets. A parlay is a single transaction in which all the horses involved arc named in advance at the same time. The layers course is open to argument, but no opinion is expressed here.
