R J MACKENZIE DEAD NEW ORLEANS La March 2 Accord ¬ ing to word received last night by Gad Bryan Jr R J MacKenzie internationally known turfman died at Los Angeles yester ¬ day following an attack of pneumonia pneumoniaMr Mr MacKenzie was the son of Sir William MacKenzie of Canada and was one of the bestknown sportsmen on the American and Canadian turf He was the owner of the Kirkfield stables of which J D Adkins is the trainer included in which is the sturdy little horse Vennie VennieMr Mr MacKenzies untimely death will un ¬ doubtedly come as a severe shock to his many friends in New Orleans and to the members of the visiting racing colony at present here
