HAVRE DE GRACE ENTRIES Over 400 Nominations Received for Four Spring Fixtures, Including Many Star Racers. HAVRE DE GRACE. Md.. April 10.— The four stakes of the Harford Agricultural and Breeders Associations spring meeting, to begin next Monday. April Hi. and finish out the month, attracted 401 nominations when they closed Saturday. The Harford Handicap. ,000 added, three-year-olds and over, three-quarters mile, drew 108 ; Philadelphia Handicap, ,000 added, three-year-olds and over, one mile and a sixteenth, !9 ; Aberdeen, ,000 added, two-year-olds, one-half mile, 141, and Chesapeake, ,000 added, three-year-olds, one mile and a sixteenth, 56. The Harford will be run next Monday as the opening day feature, the Philadelphia April 21, Aberdeen April 25 and Chesapeake April 28. August Belmont is represented by an even dozen two-year-olds in the Aberdeen Stakes. These are of Nursery breeding and are Batsman, Blink Play, Catalan, Handsup, Ladkin. Lucky Play, Marbler, Ordinance, Prineemak-er. Bevy, Oval and Fair Monica. In addition to these two-year-old engagements the chairman of the Jockey Club has engaged his Preakneen Stakes eligibles. Messenger, High Hand and How Fair, in the Chesapeake Stakes. Messenger is the single Belmont nomination to the Kentucky Derby. Other notable Chesapeake Stakes nominations from New York were those of the Greentree Stable. These include Moonraker, Dustabout, 1ntidy, Solisa, Son-o-Unc, j Romping Home and Pandowdy. The J. B. ; Smith nominations to the same three-year-old race are King Solomons Seal, Caladium and Autumn Bells. Other late additions to the stakes are: Cheaapaaha stakes Baagea. Harford Baatleap— Advocate.
