Widens r has been fortunate in buying a fine daughter of Rock Sand in France The mare in question is the fourteen-year-old Fiametta, from Fidena, by Rayon d*Or, and the t.ext dam the really good marc Fides, by The ill Used. Fiametta is in foal to the young horse St. BforitS, a son of Fauehcr and Simornis. a son of Perth, and is a hading French sire. The purchase was made through Jet I J Walsh, who trains Mr. Widcner s French stable. i
