JOCKEY A. ABEL IN DEMAND Joseph McLennan has been requested by Frank Regan to endeavor to sign Albert Abel and jockey Mein to ride Mrs. I.. A. Livingstons probable starters in the Kings Plate at Woodbine Patk. .lames Arthur, who holds tiie contract on Abel, said that his :ider had promised H. C. Proctor for th* race, but la the event Mr. Proctor had no starter Regan could have his services. "Mor-ty" Murphy could have not giv en a definite answer for Mein at this time, but said that if he was In Canada for the Woodbine Park racing, he would be glad to make the engagement.
