♦ __ ERROR OF A PLACING JUDGE SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON. England, May 3.— A new judge made an error in reporting the finish of the Two Thousand Guineas at Newmarket yesterday, placing Legality second instead of Knockando. It was ten minutes after the race had been run before the error was corrected. Lord Roseberys Ellangowan. the winner of the race, covered its mile in 1 :37%. Robert Whitworth. owner of the stallions Golden Sun and Bramble Twig, died here yesterday. Golden Sun is the sire of Golden Corn, Marshall Fields filly, which was the sensation of English two-year-old racing in 1921.
