WOODBINE TRAINING NOTES Rallim Gallops Fastest Mile of Kings Plate Candidates to Date. TORONTO, Ont.. May 3.— The fastest move of the year at Woodbine Fark by a Kings Plater was a mile gallop today by Charles Millers Rallim, a three-year-old brown colt by Sobieski — La Truite. He worked the first half mile alone in 52-z and was joined the last half by Queen Cook, going the three-quarters in 1 :17*s and the mile in 1 :45%. Another good performance was that of the Livingston Stables Amber Fly, which beat Mother Bunch at a mile in 1 :47,5. He was only cantering at the end after going to the half in 51 and three-quarters in 1 :18. J. H. Smallmans Game Scrapper worked alone an evenly rated mile in 1 :50-5. The track was fast today and was never in better conditon. From now on there will be some fast moves by the Plate candidates. Colin Hagans Royal Gift worked three-quarters in 1 :184r, in an impressive manner. The Cidings Platers will work tomorrow morning. Assistant starter Thomas had the barrier up in the three-quarters chute this morning and schooled a number of the younger horses. Gadding Fly and Smoothice, two-year-olds from the Livingston stable, worked three-eighths in 37%. Leading Light and Tiger Time, from the same stable, worked threeeighths in 37%. The crop of two-year-olds in charge of trainer Regan for Mrs. Livingston appear to be well above the average. Other gallops included the following: Greybourne — Half in 51%. Areiidal — Three-quarters in 1 :20. Brass Tacks— Half in 52%. Shue — Five-eighths in 1 :u5--.
