Won easily; second and third driving. SWKEPY, after racing close up in the early running, slipped through next to the rail on the last turn and easily passed ROUND ROBIN in the stretch to win going away. The latter showed the most speed for the first half and saved ground on the tarns, but could not withstand the winners rush. LIBERTY GIRL was under slight restraint until well into the stretch and finished fast. SO IT GOES was runuing well at the end. AIR RUBBLE ran a fast half. Won driving: second and third the same. PRINCE OF UMBRIA followed DICKS DAUGHTER csMely in the early running and. taking tiie lead on the last turn, outfinished ROMANY in a strenuous diive. ROMANY was saved for three-quarters and moved up gamely after entering the st retell and was slowly wearing the winner down the closing strides. HIGH SPEED was in close quarters roundiug the last turn and, finishing fast. outstayed RALCO. The latter raced well, but tired in the stretch. DICKS DAUGHTER set a slow-early pace and quit in the final quarter. Scratched— 60192= Whisk. 113; C9572 = Roseate II.. 104. CAROL closed up ground gradually in the filial quarter. MESSENGER was hard 1 idden all the way, but was unable to improve his position. RECOM MENDATION was practically left at the post. BLIND PLAY rushed into the lead and set a fast early pace, but tired after going a half mile. The others weie always beaten.
