Won easily; second and third driving. PHILOSOPHER fenced cleanly and raced under restraint for the first turn of the field, when he went to the front and drew away into a long lead. CHUCKLE closed up in resolute fashion when going to the last jump, but tired in the last sixteenth. TREVISCOT jumped well, but was tiring at the end. FASKADALE quit after making a rush when coming to the twelfth jump. VICAIRE fell at the thirteenth jump, SEA MASTER at the twelfth, KXMMEL at the seventh and EUDOUA II. at the fifth. TRANSMlTE began slowly, but made up ground while on the outsie and ran a good rate. SINNY LIGHT tired after setting a fast early pace. BRUSH ALL made a fast finish. STORMALONG closed a gap. BUNTING was saved close up in the early running and came a triiie wide when entering the homestretch, but finished with a rush and got up to win in the final strides. EXODUS raced into the lead on the backstretch, but was swerving out in the streti-h and finished on the extreme outside. DINNA CARE set the early pace and, saving ground when entering the homstretch, held safely the first two. JUNE GRASS ran one of his bad races and just managed to hold SETTING SLN safe.
