Y., May 9— In addition to the four jumpers whose arrival has been reported there were a couple of well-bred young fillies on the steamship Meltonian whose coming will also create interest. On© of them is the first animal bred in England by Walter J. Salmon. The other is owned by Arthur B. Hancock. The latter is a good-looking two-year-old filly by Brown Prince — Mother-in-Law, a winner of five races and dam of Sorvin-Iaw, the best all-round stallion in England. He won the Oesarewitch and other good races. In three years he has sired the winners of about 00,000, so his book rapidly fills. She won five good races. She has bred five winners. Including Queen Wasp by Bayardo. for which A. K. Macomber paid a big price last year. This season Queen Wasp has a colt foal by Buchan, to which she has again been bred. BE CAXXIES GOOD RECORD. The second dam is Be Cannie. She won seven races. Her six winners include Kings Courtship, which won the London Cup, Chesterfield Cup and five other races.
