I i f li f n f f a a GENERAL TURF GOSSIP On Derby day, May 10, seven race tracks will be in operation -Churchill Downs. Jamaica, Woodbine Park, Maple Heights. .Mount [loyal Park, Voungstowu and Phoenixville. The Canadian-bred horses in the stable of Commander J. K. L. Koss now at Laurel, Md., are scheduled to be shipped today to Woodbine Park, Toronto, Ont. Wee Toddler, the Delhi filly which won in her only start at Lexington, is owned by Norman Macfarlan, a Montreal shoe manufacturer, and because of diminutive size was named after a popular brand of shoes manufactured by Mr. Macfarlans factory. The filly has grown so much that it seems rather misnomer.
