Won driving: second and third the same. THE SWIMMER, helped by the soft going, followed TEN SIXTY closely from the start and, finishing gamely under hard riding, got up to win in the final stride. TEN SIXTY showed the most s:ie.d. but tired and swerved out slightly near the end. LIEUT. COLONEL, raced gamely and had no mishaps. EAGAZZA was gaining fast in the last sixteenth.
