HADRIAN, hard ridden for the entire race, saved much ground on the stretch turn and, finishing gamely, got up to win in the last stride. GLYN raced in closest pursuit of COLONEL RAKER and, passing him in the stretch, made a game finish. COLONEL BAKER showed the mest early speed to the last eighth, but lost ground in the stretch when he swerved out. NENETTE was going well at the end. BOBBIE SHEA finished well. SEW ELL COMRS tired. PEGGY O. was hard ridden for the entire race and made a resolute finish. PATSY I, was forced back in the first sixteenth, but closed a gap after saving much ground on the last turn. MARY LYNN swerved repeatedly and was ridden wide. QUOTA and GEORGIA MAY wore done after going the first quarter. Scratched — Floating On, 113. Overweights-Mary Lynn, 2 pounds. NURTURE showed the most speed, but began tiring after leading to the last eighth. WALNUT HALL appeared done after going three quarters, but came again and wore ATTORNEY down in the last sixteenth.
