JOHN HERTZ SELLS DEADLOCK Robert H. Shannon has bought for his own account from John Hertz the horses Deadlock, Skirmisher, Passport and Sophy and purposes to ship them to Empire City track to pace for his own account. All of the other horses, including Chittagong, owned by Hertz are at his farm near here, where he is planning the construction next spring of a training track and where he already has erected a fine barn and paddock.
