Won driving; second and third the same. LA DROLE raced closest up from the start and passed WITHOUT at the eighth post, but was tiring at the end. The latter set the early pace and made a game finish. VEHEMENT closed up ground steadily and finished gamely. THE FENIAN began slowly and ran a good race. RED CLOVER was saved for the first turn of the field and fcrced wide after taking the ninth jump, but responded gallantly to hard riding, passed BECK and outgamed LOLLIPOP at the end. LOLLIPOP dropped back in the early running, then gained steadily, but swerved when going to the last jump, which probably cost him the race. BECK jumped well and finished resolutely. STRUT -MISS LIZZIE, showing the most speed from, the start, saved ground on all the turns and, setting a fast pace, outrnced OFF COLOR in the stretch and was going away at the end. The latter raced in nearest and game pursuit, but could never get to the leader. KINGS RANSOM closd a gap and finished fast. YANKEE PRINCESS ran well. RELENTLESS tired in the final drive. SILK TASSEL rushed into an easy lead soon after the start and, making the pace fast, saved ground on all the turns, but tired when the winner challenged. KINO SOLOMONS SEAL, was saved within striking distance of the leader to the last eighth and passed BIGHEART at the eighth-post, but had to be hard ridden to outfinish NEDNA. The latter, outrun in the early racing, came with a rush through the last eighth and was wearing the winner down at the end. BIGHEART ran a good race throughout.
