ERLANGER came from far back in the last quarter. DOMINION, badly outrun early, closed a gap in the stretch. CHIEF BRANT met with : interference and tired. KARO set a fast early pace, but quit after going a half mile. POLAND showed high speed and set a great pace for the first half mile, but began tiring near , the end and just lasted to win. BEAUTIFUL ADDIE ran as if best, was away slowly and had to be , ridden wide, but came with a rush through the stretch and just failed to get up. BLACK GRACKLE , raced prominently from the start and finished well. QUEEN CHARMING closed a gap and began tiring , in the stretch. JESSIE BENTON was close up in the early racing. WRACK RAY had no mishaps. DOB- , SON was always far back. BALDINE was eased up soon after the start. TAYLOR HAY, well ridden, was kept in close pursuit of ATTA BOY II. to the stretch, where he raced into the lead and outstayed him in a game finish. The latter set a fast pace, raced in his best form and finished gamely. CASH saved much ground when coming into the stretch and was going well at the end. ROMPING MARY was far back early and lost ground by going wide on the turns, but finished fast. LOCUST LEAVES tired in the last eighth. BY GOLLY quit. TEN-LEC also saved much ground, closed an immense gap into the lead and was going fast at the end. HEREMON ran a good race and finished close up. GREAT JAZ set a fast pace and tired near the end. ROCKY MOUNTAIN raced into a good lead at once and made the pace, but gave way after reaching the stretch. FANTOCHE had a rough race. BLANCHE MAC was done after going well for three-quarters.
