ZEV IN LONG GALLOP NEW YORK, N. T., Oct 15. Sunday at Belmont Park Zev did a useful trial for the International race next Saturday, covering a mile and a half in 2:38. The fractionals were: Quarter 23, half 47, three-quarters 1:14, seven-eighths 1:27, mile 1:40, mile and eighth 1:54, mile and quarter 2 :08, finishing the mile and a half in 2:38. Satellite ran the first three quarters on even terms with him and Mad Play joined him the last part of the trial. He pulled up sound and this work should put him in great condition for the remainder of his preparation.
