Won driving; second and third the came. PROGRAM moved up steadily from an outer position and, coming fast through the stretch, took the lead and won going away. DEVIL GIRL, close up from the start, made a fast finish. POLVO ran well and came fast through the last eighth. GIBBONS showed the most early speed, but tired in the stretch drive. JESSIE BENTON finished well. KING ONEILL II. was forced back sharply and fell just after going three-eighths and ROYAL PURPLE. NANCY LANGHORNE and OLD BOURBON fell over him. Won driving; second and third the same. MARINE CORPS began fast and, disposing of JOUETT in the first half, raced into a long lead, but had to be ridden hard at the end to outstay BROTHERLY LOVE. The latter was far back in the early running and was ridden wide on the turns, but finished fast and gaining. SWAY showed improved form and outgamed TEN CAN for third place. The latter ran well. JOUETT set a fast pace briefly and quit badly. OO LA LA and QUEEN HIGH were fractious and were left at the post. Wen easily; second and third driving. GEM moved up with a rush just before reaching the stretch and, racing into a good lead, won going away. BOSH began slowly and was rushed into the lead while racing on the backstretch, but began tiring in the stretch. MISS MAZIE was far back for a half mile, but came fast through the stretch. FLOWER SHOP raced well, but was tiring through the last quarter. BATTY n. showed the most early speed, but was dene before going five-eighths. TOKIHTME tired. REDWOOD was far back most of the race. The latter raced in much improved form under gocd riding and made a fast and game finish. PEGASUS raced well and if permitted to 1 go on just before reaching the stretch, might have won.
