PIMLIC0 TURF NOTES I . l Jockey J. Chalmers has been suspended for three days. Jockeys Babin and Smallwood were each suspended three days by the starter. Richard Watkins arrived from New York on Saturday and will remain for the remainder of the season. The Xalapa Farm Stable, in charge of trainer Roy Waldron, will be wintered at Havre de Grace this year. Soggarth Aroon, following an exercise trial, fell lame and will be retired for the year, according to owner H. J. Stearns. E. E. "Watson has taken over the contract on jockey Grace which was held by O. L. Foster. Tho lad has been riding at the minor meetings. Jockey A. Johnson has been suspended for the remainder of the meeting for reckless riding in the fourth race Saturday, by order of the stewards. Bob Potee, who is handling the yearlings of the estate of Lewis Garth, gave some of the youngsters their trials at Benning yesterday. A colt, by Crimper Stalwart Helen, went a quarter in 23, and three-eighths in 3S, cased up. Two fillies, one by Berilldon Dignity and Sea King Glad Tidings, went in 23, while a colt, by Berilldon Jewell, went in 23. Tho halter brigade displayed pronounced activity on Saturday in the closing race and ! as a result three horses changed hands. E. j E. Watson took Billy Watts from F. C. Bain for ,000 ; M. J. Reid took Guelph from R. j J. Horner for ?2,500 and A. Rold dropped j in ,500 for F. Wielands Belle Amie. In the third race J. Coffey took Zealot from Mrs. M. L. Davis for ,000.
