BOOKMAKER GARDNER DIES Henry Gardner, widely known throughout racing in this country as a bookmaker and owner, and more commonly called "Frisco" Gardner, died in this city Friday and was buried Monday from the Klaner chapel at 4717 Broadway. Mr. Gardner was a man of pleasing manners and deservedly highly esteemed by his friends and acquaintances. In his days as an owner he raced a number of useful horses successfully.
