TANF0RAN TURF NOTES Al Farrell, who trained Bubbling "Water, Cloudlight and other high-class runners for Molera and Joseph, is a visitor at Tanforan. Chris Kirschbaum, formerly a prominent rider, is training the string which Johnny Crane brought to Tanforan. J. H. Macomber, owner of the Mira Monte Stables, has sold Coyote to Guy Gray; The Dictator and Gunsight to J. M. Crane, and SpeedbaU to J. Glass, agent. Johnny "Weber, formerly a well-known jockey, is a track visitor for a few days. He is here from the south in company with Major Carlton F. Burke, the millionaire polo pony breeder. Happy Buxton is here with his brother, Clarence, and will assist in training the lat-ters string. He expects to be able to ride again next year. The Buxton boys are Californians, hailing from Oakland. Eva Song, now racing at Tanforan, is the Canadian-bred mare which won fame through winning the Kings Plate at Blue Bonnets in 1922. Eva Song is now owned and trained by M. F. "Williams of National City, Cal. All of the horses shipped here by Clarence Buxton made the trip in good condition. The horses he brought in are Firm Friend, Ruddy, Insurance, Praiseworthy, Dunsandel, Mad Trooper, Little Thistle, Tangerine, Pine, Hilarity and Coeur de Lion.
