The entire , stud of Edward Cebrian was sold at auction today at Keenoland Farm, -about five miles j from this city on the Versailles Pike. A total of sixty-six head sold for 29,650, an aver- j age of ,9G4.39. The highest price realized was 5,000, which Istar, the bay mare 191G by Von Tromp Ishtar, brought on the bid of H. C. Howard Lewis. The next highest price was 4,500, which Ken Walker, as agent, paid for the chestnut mare Apparition, ! by Sweeper II. Banshee. John S. Barbee bought the stallion Troutbeck for ,000.
