The best of this collection was the speedy Dr. Hickman. The son of Tony Bonero made the greatest showing of his entire turf career. He won thirteen races, finished second six times and was third twice, earning 7,469. Quotation, Cromwell, Pequot, Palladium and others gave substantial aid to Dr. Hickman in gathering into the Williams Bros. coffers the sum of 49,959. lilere is the. record of the stable for 1923 : Horse. Harned Bros. and Jones had two high-class two-year-old fillies in the racing campaign of 1923 in Glide and Sanola. The former won seven races and 4,028, while the latter was successful in eight and accounted for ,877 Both of these young racers made such a favorable impression last year that they are being given considerable attention as prospective Derby candidates. Camden, chairman of the Kentucky Racing Commission and president of the Kentucky Jockey Club, was hard hit by the disastrous fire of 1922, when twenty-two of his horses perished in flames.
